Zahra the Bookworm

For now Zahra is more interested in re-arranging rather than reading. Perhaps one day my child, you’ll get sick of the iPhone and turn to books instead.

Mother and Daughter

Madonna and Lourdes are launching their own fashion line called Material Girl Juniors’ Line. I don’t think it will be made available in Singapore any time soon or ever.  I noticed that they are not the first to do this mother-daughter combo.

There’s Beyonce and her mother with their House of Dereon collection.

Ofcourse the addictive Kardashian family with their chains of boutiques.

Kimora and her daughters making a statment in her Baby Phat empire.

I’m sure there will be many other celebrities that will soon jump into starting their own family business, at the top of my head, I would think Demi Moore and Rumer, Jada and Willow would do something similar. Why not! You keep the money rolling within the blood and you’ll be rich until the day you die!

Rumer you’re cute, but your mummy is sizzling hot(ter)! (Sidetrack: I am very inspired by Rumer’s lace top a la kebaya top. Ofcourse with something inside..or I’ll be in STOMP! heh.)

Love Willow’s scrap hair! Will relatives look at me differently if Zahra has scrap hair like this? If I can’t pull it off then I make Zahra pull it off. Hehe.

I wonder if we’ll be business partners. Me and Zahra. Maybe I shoud enrol her in a design school, is there such a school for say 3 year olds? She needs atleast a year of brainwashing. I’d probably get her a sewing machine on her 4th..ok fine 5th birthday and make her learn how to sew, oh and pay for her photography classes so that she can take nice pictures of me modelling her outfits. Yes me. Will I be sued for child labour? I mean thats my child, and her decisions are still under parental guidance until she’s in the legal age of 18..right? ;p

Oh well, if business fails, we can still take shots like the one below at every Hari Raya events or social outings (not to the nearby mall thank you).

Here’s a ‘photo shoot’ of me and Zahra. As usual, I love the camera as much as the camera loves..errr shooting the lift next to us. If I can draw a bubble next to Zahra’s mouth in there..it would say ‘STOP IT EH MUMMY!’

Sorry, since this is my own space and I’ve been wanting to do this for the longest time, here goes:-

On Mummy:-

Lace top/dress with lining: $23 from Neu Look (rejected collection)
Bronze kain/skirt: $40, British India (70% off!)
Bronze heels: $29, Charles & Keith  (Charles & Keith factory outlet at Anchorpoint!)
Earrings: No idea, found in my (fake)jewellery box
Clutch bag: MIL’s, Raoul (taken from her cupboard, upon approval)
Gold Bangle: $6.95, Cotton On

On daughter:-

Dress: $29, Zara Baby (bought at Geylang bazaar, don’t know if its original or not.)
Bag: $40, Mango, bought about 7 years ago (the inside lining is torn, your stuff will get lost in there. Some of Zahra’s colletion money are still lost in there I think)
Shoes: $20 (I think), Collete, Tampines Mall
Socks: 3 for $10, Geylang Bazaar.

Note: Both our hair were beyond repair during the time of the shoot. Thank you.
